Wailea Inn Policies
A 30% deposit is required upon booking to save your dates. The remaining balance is paid in customized installments, and paid in full no later than 60 days prior to arrival.
All reservations made within 60 days of arrival date require full prepayment upon booking.
If you need to cancel prior to 120 days of arrival, a 50% refund of deposit plus all processed payments to date will be given less a 3.5% processing fee. The other 50% can be used towards a future stay within one year from the cancellation date.
After 120 days prior to your arrival date, all reservations are non-refundable. No refund will be given, but you may use your deposit plus all processed payments to rebook for a future date. The new reservation must be booked within one year from the cancellation date.
Any refunds, in full or in part will incur a 3.5% transaction fee.
Credit Card Policy
The Wailea Inn accepts all major credit cards.
Hawaii State General Excise Tax – 4.17%
Hotel Transient & Accommodations Tax – 9.25%
We offer free on-site gated parking for one vehicle per condominium suite. All other vehicles must park on the street in front of the property.
Check-in time is 4 pm.
Based on your planned arrival time, the Property Manager will greet you upon check-in and give you the keys. Upon check-in, please allow five to 10 minutes for a brief property walk-through to answer any questions and to verify the condition of the property.
Late arrivals can access the keys in each suite’s lock box located next to the front door. The gate code is provided in each reservation’s Welcome Forms
Check-out time is 11am.
All unapproved check-outs after 11am will be subject to a holdover charge.
We require a walk-through of each condominium suite with you and our Property Manager to verify that the property is in the same condition as when you checked in. Guest will be accountable for any excess damage or cleaning. Any resulting charges will be deducted from your security deposit.
Check out Procedures:
- Close all windows and lock all doors.
- Put all perishables and food items in the refrigerator or dispose of it.
- Place all trash in the “Aloha Waste” trash dumpster located by the front gate.
- Leave both sets of keys and gate openers on the kitchen counter.
All Welcome Forms must be signed and emailed back to Reservations@WaileaInn.com 60 days prior to arrival date to guarantee requested bed configurations and baby equipment. If our Reservations Manager does not receive the Welcome Forms 60 days prior to arrival, all beds will be arranged as king beds instead of the optional twin beds.
The Property Manager is not on-site, therefore guests must designate their estimated arrival time at the Wailea Inn on the Welcome Forms so the Property Manager can greet them with keys, answer questions and lead a brief walkthrough of the unit(s).
Although we are located in paradise and guests are apt to put security concerns out of their mind, guests must exercise caution and are responsible for locking all doors and windows when leaving the property and while sleeping at night.
Wailea Inn is tucked away in a residential neighborhood and there are neighbors next door. Your cooperation in being considerate of them will be greatly appreciated and expected. ALL NOISE MUST BE BROUGHT INSIDE BEFORE 9PM per Maui County noise rules in a residential neighborhood. If we receive noise complaints from neighbors or police, and the noise persists after one warning, guests will be required to relocate and no refund will be given.
The Wailea Inn does not allow pets.
No Smoking Policy
The Wailea Inn is a smoke-free establishment. Smoking in a designated non-smoking area is subject to fine.
Lost Key/Front Gate Remote
There is a cost of up to $1,200.00 charged to re-key the property in the event a key is lost and not returned. There is a $300 charge for replacement of the front gate remote.
